Daniel Lopour is responsible for managing market development activities aimed towards the EU Space Programme adoption in the area of rail and public transport, including the associated EU-funded R&D projects. Before joining EUSPA, Daniel was active as a project manager in the field of global standards and information systems for transportation and logistics. Daniel holds a master and a doctorate degree in Economics and Management of Transportation and Telecommunications from the Czech Technical University in Prague.

EU Space Programme and satellite technology contribution to ERTMS

The presentation will provide a brief summary of the EU Space Programme components and their functionalities. It will introduce their current status, activities and cooperation aimed towards possible introduction of the satellite technology in ERTMS.
