Biography
Dr Larissa Zhuchyi is an expert in railway infrastructure modelling and ontology development. She leads the international working group responsible for developing the railML ontology, which provides a semantic foundation for the digital exchange of railway data. Her work is central to ensuring interoperability not only within railML but also across other formats and frameworks, including those from ERA, Siemens and Bane NOR. Through her leadership, the ontology is being aligned with broader European and industrial standards to support seamless integration in the digital rail ecosystem.
