RailNetEurope (RNE) is an association of European Rail Infrastructure Managers. It serves as an umbrella organisation that helps coordinate its Members' international processes in the areas of Capacity Management, Traffic Management, Corridor Management, IT and Sales & Legal Matters.
Biography
Luka Kalezić works as a Data Scientist at RailNetEurope (RNE). Since the beginning of 2025, as part of the RNE Joint Office, he has been involved with the Railway Infrastructure System (RIS), which contains the railway infrastructure data needed for all RNE applications, from the Central Reference File Database (CRD) to the Capacity and Operations applications. He supports IT solutions across the organization and is working to ensure that RIS can facilitate Linked Data consumption and integration in the future, particularly in relation to the Register of Infrastructure (RINF). He has a background in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at the Vienna University of Technology.
