European Railway Station Accessibility Database (ERSAD)

ERSAD is the European Railway Station Accessibility Database. The ERSAD database fulfils the requirements of the Article 7a of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 1300/2014 (PRM TSI). Created in line with the requirements of the Persons with Disabilities and with Reduced Mobility TSI, the objective of ERSAD is to make sure that information on station accessibility is collected by the data providers and made public.

ERSAD is the European Railway Station Accessibility Database. 

The ERSAD database fulfils the requirements of the Article 7a of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 1300/2014 (PRM TSI).
Created in line with the requirements of the Persons with Disabilities and with Reduced Mobility TSI, the objective of ERSAD is to make sure that information on station accessibility is collected by the data providers and made public.

ERSAD is a fork of the ENTUR Stop Places registry, which source code is available here: https://github.com/entur/

ERSAD Rel.1 is the first release in production.

How to access to ERSAD

ERSAD is a public register and can be accessed via a Web Application at the following address: https://ersad.data.era.europa.eu/

Identification of data providers

In line with Art. 7a(1) of the TSI PRM, data providers have to be appointed by the Member States. 

To do so the Member States shall:

  • Download the template available at the end of this page.
  • Fill in with relevant data, this requires the data providers to get an Organisation Code following this procedure.
  • Send it to ERSADatera [dot] europa [dot] eu (subject: Identification%20of%20data%20providers) (ERSAD[at]era[dot]europa[dot]eu).

Data provisioning

To be an ERSAD data provider you will have to request an account here. Please note that only data providers appointed by the Member States will be granted one.

Then, concerning the data, the parameters to be provided pursuant to point 4.4.3.2 of the Annex to the Telematics TSI (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/253), including associated deadline in App. G of this Implementing Regulation, are included in the Technical document B.15 of the Telematics TSI.
