Israeli and Italian experts meet in Bologna to exchange experience in the field of safety in railway tunnels
Transport of rail passengers in Israel is on the rise since the 80’s and demand is going to continue growing according to the projections forecasted by the Railway Plan 2040 presented by the Ministry of Transport. In order to meet this increasing demand, Israel has planned to expand the railway network and construct railway tunnels.
