Enno Wiebe
Director General
ERTMS 2026 Conference - Speaker
The evolution of ERTMS from the rail supply industry's point of view. "This presentation will outline the role of the European railway supply industry as a key actor & partner within the overall railway system, both in shaping specifications and in supporting the roll-out of ERTMS. We regard ERTMS as the future of Europe’s signalling system. However, significant work remains to be done before that vision is fully realised - including ensuring a stable set of specifications, achieving meaningful cost reductions, and delivering the successful introduction of FRMCS. The core focus of this presentation is therefore on what the European railway supply industry can contribute, and how it can work together with its partners across the rail system in a coordinated and concerted approach to make this transition a success."
