The European Register of Authorised Types of Vehicles (ERATV) refers to Article 48 of Interoperability Directive (EU) 2016/797
and provides the technical characteristics of types of vehicles authorized in the different Member States. The common technical specifications of the register are set out in a Commission Implementing Decision (ERATV Decision 2011/665/EU
). ERATV is in operation since January 2013.
