ERA Work Programme 2026-2028 (SPD)

The Single Programming Document 2026-2028 has been adopted on 18 November 2025, by MB Decision n° 389.

In agreement with the ERA Management Board, the European Commission, the NSAs and the sector representative bodies, the Agency has set priorities for its work. They are summarised as follows: 

1. Interoperable and cost-efficient
2. Safe
3. Future-proof 

It is important to note that these three key pillars around which the Agency’s strategic framework is built are of equal importance and are designed to work in concert, ensuring that no single priority is pursued at the expense of the others. The structure of the SPD reflects this balanced approach, with each pillar supporting the overall mission and long-term objectives of the Agency. 

The Agency is committed to continuously assessing and harmonising efforts across these pillars, so that progress in one area reinforces and complements the others.
