Biography

Lars Brune is a project manager for ETCS and approval management at DB InfraGO in Cologne, Germany. He is involved in the deployment of innovative ETCS trackside solutions, including the ETCS implementation on the Cologne–Aachen–Belgium corridor. In this role, he contributes to transition specifications based on the SRS and supports international coordination within the ERTMS community as a member of the Engineering Support Group of the ERTMS Users Group.
Before joining DB InfraGO, he worked as a signalling engineer at DB Engineering & Consulting, focusing on ETCS planning and system integration for Corridor Rhine-Alpine and supporting commissioning of command, control and signalling systems. Lars is also active as a systemic coach, trainer and lecturer on ETCS and railway communication technologies.
