Biography

Since May 2021, I have been Secretary General of AERRL, a representative body of the rail sector at EU level, which defends the interests of European rail rolling stock leasing companies. 
I have held various positions in the Belgian transport sector: at the SNCB, in ministerial cabinets and at the FPS Mobility and Transport, which I headed for a few years.
Previously, I served as Secretary General of the European Rail Freight Association (ERFA) and of the International Transport Forum (ITF).
My main areas of activity are market opening and competition law, and the management & maintenance of rail rolling stock.
