Free webinar: First Steps Towards FRMCS

The TSIs Revision Package 2022 currently carried out by the European Union Agency for Railway will include a major step for the Interoperability of the telecommunication systems used by the railways: first step towards FRMCS. The Future Railway Mobile Communication System is a 5G-based system providing communication services: voice applications (voice group calls, railway emergency call, Mission Critical Services); connectivity for legacy railway applications (ETCS/ATO); enabler for future railway applications (IoT, monitoring).

During the webinar, ERA will present how the first step towards FRMCS is introduced in the Control-Command & Signalling TSI, and UIC will provide more information on the development of the FRMCS specifications and on the 5GRail project.
