A Green Mobility and Transport system at the service of Carbon Neutral EU local communities.
This event has been organised by ERA together with CER, UIC and UITP as an EU side event at COP26 in Glasgow. It will highlight the critical role of rail and public transport in getting on track to achieve the Paris Objectives, and the European Green Deal Strategy to make Europe climate neutral by 2050. It will particularly focus on some of the objectives contained in the EU Smart and Sustainable Strategy, the modal shift to rail and the integration of the different modes of transport to identify the optimal and most sustainable transport mix.
How to participate
The session takes place on the Sustainable Transport Day in the EU's programme of COP26 side events in Glasgow, on 12 November from 16:00-17:00 Glasgow local time (17:00-18:00 Brussels time). You can follow the session online by registering here.
