On 20-21 January 2026, the European Union Agency for Railways organises a regional technical workshop in Prague, Czechia, dedicated to providing clarification and guidance on the CCS TSI and ERTMS specifications. This workshop is organised in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Transport and UNIFE.
Participants will be able to interact directly with the ERA experts concerning issues or questions they may have regarding the specifications for ETCS/ERTMS and the CCS TSI legal text. All presentations will be in English with simultaneous translation into Czech.
This technical workshop will give tangible benefits to technical railway experts in Czech Republic and the surrounding regions as well as adjacent member states.
Target audience: the objective of such an event is to reach those who use and implement the CCS TSI and the specifications on a routinely basis and apply these documents on considerable investment deployment schemes such as:
- Infrastructure managers/staff involved in the deployment of ERTMS, specialists in train detection systems, staff involved in projects of upgrade/renewal of lines, staff involved in the provision of RINF data
- Assessment Bodies, NoBos, DeBos: staff involved in rolling stock and CCS assessment
- Railway undertakings: from vehicle manufacturers to staff involved in operation of combined transport trains and route compatibility assessment
- NSAs – staff involved in authorisations of subsystems (vehicles and fixed installations)
