Biography
Mikel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence and Telecommunication engineer with more than 18 years of track records in automation projects. With extensive experience as researcher/SW engineer (designing and developing systems), as R&D project manager/director (leading projects and R&D teams) and as co-founder and manager of a technological start-up. Since 2018 he has been working in the field of railway signalling and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), as head of autonomous vehicle initiatives in mainline, within the CAF group.
