ERA is committed to disseminating information related to the Union framework of railway law to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, ERA aims to develop and deliver training and other suitable activities to explain and apply railway safety and interoperability legislation.
For this purpose, ERA has drafted a safety training qualification scheme and is seeking cooperative partners to test it. The goal is to gain experience and use feedback for improvement. The pilot phase is now open.
The pilot phase to test an initial version of the scheme, functioning and assessment step is being open to any owner of safety training applicable to railways. Capacity is limited: only the ten first complete applications transmitted before the 21 December 2023 will be assessed by the ERA team. Only one application per owner will be assessed during the pilot phase.
Qualified safety training will be promoted through the ERA Website and in the ERA webinars/events.
Has your organisation developed and delivered training materials on railway safety specifics? Your training initiatives related to SMS, HOF, Safety culture, Risk assessment or other topics relevant to ERA's activities can serve as a pilot for testing the qualification scheme.
