9th Budapest’s ERA workshop

The Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology organised in collaboration with ERA the yearly 9th Budapest’s ERA workshop. 

The workshop will be on 20 October 2021 from 08.40 to 17.00 CET. There will be a plenary session in the morning and 4 sessions (joint section of infrastructure and vehicles, followed by a separate section of infrastructure and vehicles, as well as the railway safety section) in the afternoon.

A total of 28 presentations will be held at the virtual ERA workshop, from the Executive Director and experts of the European Agency for Railways, EU Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, as well as experts representing different European railway organizations.

The theme of the workshop is ‘The development of rail safety and interoperability in the mirror of a 4th Railway Package’. The program of the workshop is included in the Agenda below.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge, but it is subject to registration.

The workshop’s presentations are in English, translated into Hungarian by simultaneous interpreters, so the presentations can be followed in two languages. At the workshop questions to be addressed to the speakers can be asked in writing in the Q&A section, which will be answered in writing by the speakers after the event.
