Titia Los is working as an assessor/auditor for ERTMS projects in both rolling stock as well as infrastructure since 2015. Titia has been Performing NoBo, DeBo and AsBo assessments. Titia has also been participating in NB Rail CCS subgroup meetings since 2018 and since January 2024 as a subgroup leader.

W7. From Certification to Authorisation, challenges and issues

Impact on the certification and authorisation processes of: 

• CCS TSI 2023 transition regime and other changes  
• Challenges when the manufacturer`s deliveries are delayed but the date for putting into service is already fixed 
• Small changes and retrofit of already certified vehicles 
• Specific case: certification deliveries in case of stepwise authorisation process, e.g. Authorisation for Testing and then Authorisation for placing in service
