This project is funded by the European Commission and has been assigned to the Agency for the time-frame 2017-2020. It comprises a funding of 2 Million € and concerns Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine (*) and Tunisia.
The purpose of this project is to improve the operations and the efficiency of the Mediterranean transport system by concentrating its efforts on regulatory reforms, training, and dialogue with the decision makers.
This EU-funded project helps
  • to promote European best practices, regulation and standards to the beneficiaries of the Southern Mediterranean Region;
  • to provide a level playing field for promotion of global references and promotion of the Agency as world leader in railway safety
