The Agency organises a series of dissemination workshops for the Common Safety Method (CSM) on Conformity Assessment (CA) and Safety Management System (SMS) guidance. Within this framework, the Agency will visit Prague 22-23 February 2012.

 

The objectives of these workshops will be:

• how RUs/IMs can develop a safety management system (SMS) based on the requirements of the Directive 2004/49/EC
• how to apply Assessment Criteria of the CSM on Conformity Assessment (CSM CA) to SMS as part of awarding safety certificates or safety authorisations
• how to apply the CSM CA Framework Assessment procedures
• how to supervise compliance with the regulatory framework

The target audience of the dissemination workshops is NSAs, RUs, IMs and other sector organisations.
